Libertarian Candidate Marc Bozzacco Talking Taxes and Mass Incarceration with Ken Krawchuk
Abington residents, Marc Bozzacco, the Libertarian Candidate for State Representative 153rd District and past Gubernatorial Libertarian Candidate, Ken Krawchuk, sat down on Saturday to talk about Marc’s campaign and to answer questions about his reasons for running.
Marc began the discussion with his main reason for running. “Taxes," he declared. Taxes are "the root of all evil in this state. They literally tax everything and they are looking for everyway to squeeze an extra tax in there.”
Elaborating, Marc continued, “The 25% corporate tax has got to go. I’m a believer in no corporate tax, let alone 25%. Why would anybody want tun a business in this state? That’s a tax I want to get rid of. I mean, I want to get rid of all of them eventually but we have to start somewhere.”
However, for Marc, the state's onerous taxation was just the beginning, calling for less government "control over our lives." He then went on to describe Pennsylvania's penal system as "crazy."
“Did you know that there is almost 400,000 people tied up in our penal system? 55% of those people are non-violent, victimless offenders.”
