Montco Libertarians Kick Off Monthly "Liberty Forum" Speaker Meetings
Norristown PA – The Montgomery County Libertarian Party today announced the inauguration of monthly meetings for 2023 known as Liberty Forums. Each Liberty Forum will feature a different Libertarian-themed speaker spanning a wide range of topics. The Forums will be held at 7 PM on the fourth Wednesday of every month in the Community Room of the Lansdale Library, 301 Vine Street, Lansdale, PA 19446. The events are free and open to the public, and light refreshments will be served.
The first Liberty Forum is scheduled for 7 PM on Wednesday, January 25th. The featured speaker that night will be Ken Krawchuk, former Libertarian gubernatorial candidate and host of The Pennsylvania Project, a popular talk radio show on WWDB in Philadelphia. The title of Ken’s presentation is “The Pennsylvania Constitution: William Penn’s Unsung Legacy.”
Looking ahead to the future, on February 22nd the guest speaker will be Suk Smith, Pennsylvania Director of the Gun Owners of America. On March 22nd, the guest speaker will be Bob Lankin, a Libertarian mass incarceration expert from the corrections committee of the Pennsylvania Bar Association. Additional Liberty Forum speakers have already been confirmed, and details will be announced monthly as each event approaches.
